Security audit

Admin Cli

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a simple disclosed admin command wrapper, but installing it means an agent could run privileged system updates or restart services if you authorize it.

Install only if you want the agent to perform privileged system administration. Use it on trusted machines, review each requested update or service restart before authorizing elevated execution, and avoid using it on production hosts without your normal change-control process.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill exposes elevated-privilege administrative commands that can modify the host system, including full package updates and service restarts, but the description does not warn users about the risks or system impact. Without an explicit warning, an operator may invoke the skill without understanding that it can change packages, disrupt services, or affect host stability.
