Security audit

huawei-cloud-evs-list

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a coherent read-only Huawei Cloud EVS disk listing helper, with credential and cloud access limited to the stated inventory purpose.

Install only if you intend an agent to read EVS disk names, IDs, status, and size from your Huawei Cloud tenant. Prefer a least-privilege IAM credential with only evs:volumes:list, avoid production/admin keys, and review the CLI/SDK installation commands before running them.

Finding
The SDK fallback test case explicitly reads cloud access credentials from environment variables and uses them to query tenant resources without any user-facing disclosure. Even though the operation is read-only, it still exercises real privileged credentials against cloud APIs, which can lead to unintended access to sensitive inventory metadata and normalize hidden credential use inside a skill context.
