Meta Ads Creative Fatigue

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill reads Meta Ads performance data to analyze creative fatigue, and its account-wide default is disclosed and aligned with that purpose.

Install only if you are comfortable letting the skill use read-only Meta Ads credentials to inspect active ad performance in the selected account. Provide campaign_id or ad_ids when you want narrower analysis instead of the disclosed account-wide default.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill requires Meta Ads credentials and can default to querying all active ads in an account, but it does not prominently warn the user about this scope at the point of use. This can lead to unintended access to broader account data than expected, especially when a user omits optional filters like campaign_id or ad_ids.
