File Organizer Test

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward local file organizer that previews changes before moving files and does not show hidden, networked, persistent, or deceptive behavior.

Install only if you are comfortable letting the skill inspect and move files in folders you explicitly provide. Review the dry-run plan carefully before approving execution, especially for large folders or directories used by scripts, shortcuts, or other applications.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

The skill instructs reading and organizing arbitrary user-specified directories, which inherently requires filesystem access, but it does not declare any explicit tool scope or permissions boundary. That mismatch weakens reviewability and enforcement, making it easier for an agent to read unintended files or operate beyond the user's expected scope if the runtime grants broad file access.
