Security audit

Lorem Toolkit

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a local placeholder-data generator with no evidence of hidden access, persistence, network use, or destructive behavior.

Install this if you want a simple local generator for mock data. Treat generated contact, finance, and identity-like values as fake only, and be aware that the advertised feature list is broader than what the included script actually implements.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Vague Triggers

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
96% confidence
Finding

The trigger text says the skill should activate whenever a user needs placeholder text, test data, fake data, Lorem Ipsum, or mock data, which is broad and may cause the skill to activate in many loosely related contexts. Overly broad activation can lead to inappropriate invocation, response hijacking over more suitable skills, and generation of synthetic data in contexts where it was not explicitly requested.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
81% confidence
Finding

The CLI restricts locale selection to en and cn in multiple subcommands, and the data model is built around only English and Chinese names and cities. This is a natural-language locale constraint that is not documented as region-specific or offered as an opt-in policy choice beyond those two hard-coded options.
