Polymarket Value Trader

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a coherent prediction-market trading skill, but it can direct an agent to place or cancel trades, including real-money Polymarket trades, without requiring explicit per-action confirmation.

Install only if you intend to let an agent assist with prediction-market trading. Keep TRADING_VENUE set to sim unless you deliberately enable real USDC trading, use a restricted and revocable API key if available, set hard spending limits outside the skill, and require explicit approval before any trade, venue change, or order cancellation.

Vague Triggers

Medium
Confidence
91% confidence
Finding
The activation text is broad enough to trigger on common requests like checking positions or finding opportunities, which can invoke a trading-capable skill in situations where the user may not have intended to initiate market activity. Because this skill can progress from information gathering to order placement, overbroad activation increases the chance of unintended high-risk financial actions.

Missing User Warnings

High
Confidence
97% confidence
Finding
The skill explicitly supports switching from paper trading to real-money Polymarket trading but does not require an explicit warning, user acknowledgement, or confirmation before irreversible trades. In a financial-trading context, that omission is dangerous because mistaken or ambiguous activation can lead directly to real monetary loss.
