Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed academic-paper summarization template with no code execution, persistence, credential access, or hidden data flow.

Install this if you want a Chinese-language workflow for summarizing academic papers into structured notes. Before using it, be aware it defaults to Chinese output and is meant for papers or scholarly articles, not general document summarization.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Vague Triggers

Finding

The description and activation section say to use the skill for requests like “文献摘要”, “整理学术笔记”, and “说明参考价值”, which can overlap with ordinary summarization or note-organizing requests outside the intended academic-paper context. Although some examples mention papers, the trigger scope is not tightly constrained and does not include negative examples clarifying when the skill should not activate.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Finding

The workflow states that for English papers, summaries and reference-value sections should be output in Chinese, and for Chinese papers the output is entirely in Chinese. This imposes a language choice by default rather than offering the user a language preference, which is a natural-language locale policy concern under the stated rules.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Finding

This markdown file presents all instructions and template headings in Chinese, which effectively forces a single language/locale for users. The policy allows language constraints only when the skill offers user opt-in or clearly documents a justified regional scope, neither of which appears here.
