linux-kernel-crash-debug

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This Linux crash-debugging skill is purpose-aligned and clearly warns users before any sensitive dump handling or live-system changes.

Use this skill only for authorized Linux kernel crash work. Treat vmcore files and trace output as sensitive because they may contain credentials, keys, process memory, hostnames, and customer data. Do not let an agent perform live-host mutations, kdump tests, SysRq crash actions, or service/boot changes unless you have approved the exact host and action and have a rollback plan.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
