streaming-availability-comparison

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a coherent streaming-availability lookup helper that uses a disclosed Crawlora API key and external JustWatch API calls for its stated purpose.

Install only if you are comfortable sending streaming-title lookup requests and your Crawlora API key to Crawlora. Avoid putting sensitive personal details into query parameters, and if your agent asks for shell approval, limit approval to the bundled crawlora.sh helper and the requested lookup scope.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
88% confidence
Finding

The skill invokes shell-based functionality via scripts/crawlora.sh but does not declare any tool scope restrictions such as permissions or allowed-tools. That creates an avoidable trust gap: an agent may permit broader shell execution than necessary, increasing the chance of misuse, unintended command execution paths, or unsafe expansion if the script or its inputs are later modified.

Missing User Warnings

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding

This is a markdown file, so SQP-2 applies to missing user-facing warnings about behaviors that could affect privacy or system integrity. Line L07 instructs callers to send x-api-key: $CRAWLORA_API_KEY to an external API, but the document provides no caution about credential handling or that requests transmit data to a third-party service.
