Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Crawlora API helper for Airbnb market research, with no hidden persistence, privilege escalation, or unrelated data access found.

Install only if you are comfortable sending your Crawlora API key and market-research queries, including locations and listing IDs, to Crawlora. Keep the API key in the environment, review credit usage for repeated collection, and avoid using it for sensitive private locations unless that fits your own data-sharing policy.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Lp3

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
89% confidence
Finding
The skill invokes a shell script (`scripts/crawlora.sh`) but does not declare any explicit tool scope or allowed-tools boundary. This creates an unnecessary trust gap: an agent or runtime may permit broader shell execution than intended, increasing the chance of command execution beyond the documented API workflow if the bundled script or invocation path is modified or misused.

Confidence

Finding
Data is being sent to an external URL. This could be legitimate telemetry or data exfiltration. Manual review is recommended.
