Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Crawlora/OpenSea research helper that sends scoped NFT collection queries to Crawlora and does not show hidden persistence, destructive behavior, or credential misuse.

Install only if you are comfortable using a Crawlora API key and sending NFT collection slugs/search terms to Crawlora. Keep the API key scoped and private, and use the skill for research snapshots rather than trading, transaction signing, or continuous monitoring.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
88% confidence
Finding

The skill explicitly instructs use of a bundled shell script but does not declare any tool restrictions or allowed-tool scope. That creates an execution-capability gap: an agent may invoke shell access more broadly than intended, increasing the chance of command execution abuse, unsafe parameter passing, or use in environments that expected a read-only research skill.

Missing User Warnings

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
83% confidence
Finding

This markdown file instructs users to call Crawlora endpoints and states that requests require an API key, but it does not include any user-facing warning about sending requested collection slugs, searches, and related inputs to an external service. For markdown files, SQP-2 applies when descriptions omit warnings about behaviors that could affect user privacy or external data transmission.
