Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Crawlora API helper for researching game price history and offer comparisons, with no evidence of hidden persistence, destructive behavior, or unrelated data access.

Install only if you are comfortable sending game titles, storefront regions, app IDs, and related query parameters to Crawlora along with your Crawlora API key. Keep the key scoped to Crawlora and revoke or rotate it if you no longer use the skill.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The skill explicitly instructs use of a bundled shell script but does not declare any tool restrictions or allowed-tool scope. That creates an authorization gap: an agent may execute shell-capable behavior broader than the skill’s stated business purpose, increasing the chance of unintended command execution, script modification abuse, or use of local environment secrets during operation.
