Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a bounded soccer match analysis helper that uses a documented Crawlora/SofaScore API workflow and does not show hidden persistence, privilege escalation, or unrelated data access.

Before installing, understand that using this skill sends match search terms, event IDs, and your Crawlora API key to Crawlora's API. This is expected for the workflow, but users who do not want a third-party sports-data proxy or who cannot share those queries should avoid using it.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
87% confidence
Finding

The skill includes executable shell usage examples (scripts/crawlora.sh ...) but does not declare any explicit tool restrictions such as permissions or allowed-tools. In an agent environment, this can cause the runtime to grant broader-than-necessary execution capability or leave tool access ambiguous, increasing the risk of unintended command execution, parameter injection through user-controlled inputs, or misuse of local scripts and networked data access.
