Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed box-office research helper that queries a specific Crawlora API and does not show hidden persistence, privilege escalation, or unrelated data handling.

Install this only if you are comfortable sending box-office lookup parameters and your Crawlora API key to Crawlora. Keep the key scoped to Crawlora, do not include unrelated private data in query values, and monitor credit usage for broad searches.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
89% confidence
Finding

The skill references a bundled shell script and instructs use of it, but it does not declare an explicit tool scope such as allowed-tools or permissions. This increases the chance that an agent may invoke shell capabilities more broadly than intended, weakening least-privilege controls and making abuse or accidental command execution harder to contain.
