Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Crawlora API workflow for app review research, with no evidence of hidden data access, persistence, or destructive behavior.

Before installing, understand that the agent may send your Crawlora API key and the app IDs, search terms, countries, languages, and review queries you request to Crawlora. Keep requests scoped to intended public app review analysis and set clear page or credit limits.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding

The skill invokes a shell script and instructs use of external API access, but it does not declare an explicit tool scope such as permissions or allowed-tools. That creates an avoidable trust gap: a caller or platform may permit broader execution than intended, increasing the chance of shell misuse or unintended command capability in a skill that handles API credentials.

External Transmission

Medium
Category
Data Exfiltration
Confidence
60% confidence
Finding

Data is being sent to an external URL. This could be legitimate telemetry or data exfiltration. Manual review is recommended.

Finding

Commands invoke sudo or root privileges. Verify this elevated access is necessary and justified.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
82% confidence
Finding

The endpoint description says Defaults: country=us, lang=en, which imposes a specific locale in natural-language documentation. Because this file does not mention user opt-in, override behavior, or a justified region-specific constraint, it may conflict with language/locale policy expectations.
