Code Reviewer

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a read-only code review skill with disclosed optional cross-model review and no evidence of hidden execution, persistence, or data exfiltration.

Install this if you want stricter code-review feedback. Be aware that the optional --dual mode may use an additional model and more time or cost, and its tone is intentionally direct.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access

Vague Triggers

Category

Confidence
95% confidence
Finding

The description lists generic phrases such as "find issues," "what's wrong with this code," and "review this code" as activation examples. In a markdown skill file, these are broad enough to match ordinary conversation and there are no explicit exclusion conditions or tighter scope constraints to prevent accidental invocation.

Unbounded Resource Access

Medium
Category
Excessive Agency
Confidence
80% confidence
Finding

Skill allows unbounded resource consumption (API calls, storage, compute). Without rate limits or quotas, a compromised or misbehaving agent can cause denial-of-service or cost overruns.

md
- N+1 query patterns
- Raw string interpolation in queries (SQL injection risk)
- Missing indexes on frequently queried columns
- Unbounded queries without LIMIT
