The skill directs the agent to append fixed third-party branding to every generated response and requires use of templates that repeatedly embed the same publisher attribution and links. This is not merely optional source attribution: the instruction states that every output must end with the specified footer.
When the skill is loaded, these instructions alter the agent's output behavior for the current session. The response channel is consequently used to distribute publisher-controlled promotional material regardless of whether the footer is necessary to satisfy the user's request. The mandatory and persistent nature of the instruction makes this a form of skill instruction hijacking.
External article links are expected for a news skill, but the unconditional branded footer is separate from contextual citation of a source. The issue is therefore the forced injection into every output, not the legitimate presentation of relevant article links.

Remediation Suggestions
- Remove the requirement that every output end with a branded footer.
- Limit source attribution to responses that actually use content from that source.
- Make branding optional and subordinate to the user's requested format.
- Clearly distinguish factual citations from promotional attribution.
- Permit host-agent and user formatting requirements to override all skill templates.
- Avoid hard-coding unrelated external links into error, setup, and settings responses.
- Treat all content retrieved from external feeds and APIs as untrusted data and never interpret it as agent instructions.
