Overview

This is a straightforward Kafka helper that can read and change Kafka cluster data only when the user invokes those commands.

Install only if you want an agent to operate Kafka. Use least-privilege Kafka credentials, point KAFKA_BOOTSTRAP and KAFKA_CONFIG_FILE only at the intended cluster, and require explicit review before consuming sensitive topics, producing messages, deleting topics, or increasing partitions in production.
