Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward Slack control guide, with broad but disclosed bot-token Slack actions and no hidden code or persistence.

Install only where the Clawdbot Slack token has appropriate least-privilege scopes. Treat reads, edits, deletes, pins, and posts as real workspace actions, and use explicit user direction before accessing private conversations or modifying messages.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Missing User Warnings

Medium

Not specified by scanner
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The skill states that it uses a configured bot token but does not warn about the token's effective permissions, privacy implications, or the possibility of accessing or modifying workspace content. In context, this is risky because the skill can read messages and member info and perform actions across Slack targets, so missing authorization/privacy guidance may lead to overbroad or inappropriate use.
