Sentry Error Analyzer

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward Sentry error-triage guide, with expected Sentry API token use but no hidden execution, persistence, or unrelated data access.

Install only if you are comfortable letting the agent analyze Sentry issue data. Use a least-privilege Sentry token, confirm you are authorized to access the project, and review logs/events for secrets or personal data before sharing large exports.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

This markdown file includes curl commands that read the sensitive environment variable $SENTRY_AUTH_TOKEN and send project error data to the Sentry API, but the skill description does not warn about credential use, privacy implications, or transmission of potentially sensitive telemetry. For markdown files, SQP-2 applies when behaviors affecting user data or privacy are described without disclosure.
