Security audit

SkyInsights

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward CertiK SkyInsights API wrapper that uses disclosed API credentials to check blockchain address and transaction risk.

Install only if you intend to use CertiK SkyInsights and are comfortable providing its API key and secret. Queried wallet addresses and transaction hashes will be sent to CertiK for analysis. Prefer environment variables over a shared project .env file, and review automatic AML screening behavior if you need every external query to be explicitly confirmed.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Credential Access

High
Category
Privilege Escalation
Confidence
60% confidence
Finding

Code accesses credential files (SSH keys, AWS credentials, etc.). This could indicate credential theft attempts.

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
94% confidence
Finding

The skill invokes a Python script that uses environment-provided API credentials and makes outbound network requests, but the manifest does not declare an explicit tool scope such as permissions or allowed-tools. That creates an authorization gap: host systems or reviewers cannot easily enforce least privilege, and the skill may be granted broader capabilities than users expect.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
95% confidence
Finding

The instruction hard-codes a Chinese message to present to the user during screening, which imposes a specific language regardless of the user's preferences. This is a natural-language locale policy issue because the file does not offer opt-in, fallback language selection, or justification that the skill is Chinese-only or region-specific.

External Transmission

Medium
Category
Data Exfiltration
Confidence
60% confidence
Finding

Data is being sent to an external URL. This could be legitimate telemetry or data exfiltration. Manual review is recommended.
