Uptimely: Checking Uptime Status

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a read-only Uptimely monitoring skill that asks the agent to fetch project health, incidents, alerts, on-call, and maintenance information without making changes.

Install only if you intend the agent to read Uptimely operational data such as incidents, alerts, monitor history, and on-call schedules. Confirm the OAuth scopes and project choice when connecting, since this may expose sensitive service-health and response information to the agent, but the reviewed skill itself is read-only and explicitly avoids write actions.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

The manifest description includes a catch-all invocation condition beyond the specific examples, which makes activation boundaries unclear. 'Status check' and 'monitoring overview' are generic phrases that may match everyday requests not intended for this Uptimely-specific skill.
