Deep Debugging

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed, read-oriented debugging workflow with sensible safeguards around secrets and production changes.

Before installing, be aware that the skill may inspect logs, git metadata, dependency versions, listening ports, and environment variable names during debugging. It explicitly says not to print secrets or raw production data and requires approval for production-changing actions, so use it where that diagnostic visibility is acceptable.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

The section labeled 'User-facing concise summary' provides only German field labels ('Gefunden', 'Gefixt', 'Beweis', 'Offen') for end-user communication. This imposes a specific language on user-facing output without opt-in or any documented reason, which matches the language/locale policy violation criteria.
