Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is purpose-aligned, but users should understand that coding notes and handoff details are sent to an external BlueColumn API.

Before installing, make sure you are comfortable sending architecture notes, TODOs, branch context, and handoff text to BlueColumn’s external API. Review or redact secrets, customer data, proprietary details, credentials, and security-sensitive implementation notes before logging them.

Finding
The skill instructs the agent to send coding-session content, architecture decisions, TODOs, and handoff notes to a third-party remote API, but it provides no warning about privacy, confidentiality, or data-sharing implications. In a coding-assistance context, these notes can easily contain proprietary source details, credentials, internal architecture, security decisions, or customer data, so silent transmission to an external service creates a real data-exposure risk.
