Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed game-service integration for The Pit and does not show hidden, destructive, or deceptive behavior.

Install this only if you want your agent to interact with The Pit. Be aware that registering creates a public handle, games and some text such as epitaphs may be public, and any Pit key should be treated like a service credential rather than pasted into public messages.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

The skill description is broad enough to match generic requests about playing games against others, checking leaderboards, or registering for play, which can cause the agent to invoke this external-network skill in situations where the user did not specifically intend to use The Pit. That can lead to unnecessary outbound requests, accidental account creation or queueing, and unintended disclosure of a chosen handle or gameplay activity to a third-party service.
