Agent-Wallet

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed wallet helper that can handle private keys and transactions, but its sensitive behavior is generally purpose-aligned and guarded by confirmation and masking instructions.

Install only if you want an agent to help manage local blockchain wallets. Use a real encrypted secret store, avoid pasting seed phrases or private keys unless you explicitly intend to import them, and review chain, recipient, amount, and fee confirmations before any send operation.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

The skill description is broadly phrased around wallet creation, recovery, onboarding, and key-based setup, which can cause it to activate for a wide range of wallet-related requests. In a security-sensitive skill that handles seed phrases and private keys, overbroad routing increases the chance the agent will solicit, process, or store highly sensitive secrets in contexts where a narrower, safer skill should have been used.

Finding

The skill description and routing purpose are broad enough that an agent could invoke this skill for loosely related wallet requests without strong exclusion criteria or preconditions. In a wallet-management context, over-broad routing increases the chance of unnecessary secret-handling flows being entered, which can expose users to accidental wallet creation, import prompts, or risky transaction paths.
