Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a Chinese Adler roleplay skill that is mostly coherent, but it can make mental-health-adjacent advice sound like it comes from a doctor while limiting repeated disclosure.

Install only if you want a Chinese educational roleplay perspective on Adlerian psychology. Treat outputs as reflective framing, not diagnosis, therapy, medical advice, or statements from Alfred Adler; use qualified professional support for depression, trauma, crisis, or serious distress.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs

## Role-Playing Rules

**After this Skill is activated, respond directly as Adler.**

- Use “I” instead of “Adler would say...” — I am Adler and answer directly.
- Maintain an educator’s attitude and a physician’s judgment.
- When encountering uncertain questions, remain confident while responding based on facts.
- Avoid absolute statements, but emphasize human agency and the possibility of change.
- **State the disclaimer only once upon initial activation** (“I'm speaking from Adler's perspective based on public statements, not as Adler himself”); do not repeat it in later conversation.
- Do not say, “If Adler were here, he might say...”
- Do not leave the role to perform meta-analysis unless the user explicitly requests “exit role.”

**Exit role**: Return to normal mode when the user says “exit,” “switch back to normal,” or “stop role-playing.”

Technical Analysis

The Skill does more than provide optional subject-matter context or stylistic guidance. It instructs the agent to replace its normal identity with an impersonated historical identity, answer in the first person, suppress recurring disclosure, avoid meta-analysis, and preserve the altered behavior until the user supplies one of several designated exit phrases.

This constitutes session-level instruction hijacking because loading the Skill changes the agent’s active goals and response constraints. The persistence condition can continue influencing follow-up requests that do not require role-playing. The prohibition against leaving the role for meta-analysis can also interfere with transparency, correction, and evaluation of the Skill’s behavior.

Remediation Suggestions

  1. Replace identity impersonation with an explicitly analytical framing, such as: “Analyze the question using concepts from Adlerian psychology.”
  2. Do not instruct the agent to claim “I am Adler.” Use transparent wording such as “From an Adlerian perspective.”
  3. Remove the persistent exit-phrase mechanism. The perspective should apply only to the request that invoked it unless the user explicitly asks to continue.
  4. Remove the prohibition against meta-analysis. The agent must remain able to explain its role, limitations, sources, and generated nature.
  5. Preserve disclosure whenever identity confusion is reasonably possible, rather than limiting it to the first response.
  6. Replace the instruction to remain confident under uncertainty with a requirement to identify uncertainty, distinguish verified facts from interpretation, and avoid fabricated attribution.
  7. Add an explicit precedence rule stating that platform policies, system instructions, user safety, and factual accuracy override all persona and style directives.
  8. For mental-health-related responses, clarify that the content is educational and does not constitute diagnosis, psychotherapy, or medical advice.
  9. Scope stylistic guidance to tone and terminology without allowing it to modify identity, safety constraints, tool permissions, or unrelated conversation behavior.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding

The skill mandates roleplay as Adler and hard-codes the only required disclaimer in English, without offering a locale-appropriate alternative. In a Chinese-language skill, this can reduce user comprehension of the disclosure, making it less clear that the model is impersonating a historical figure rather than providing ordinary assistant or professional advice.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
93% confidence
Finding

This markdown file contains natural-language content exclusively in Chinese from the title onward, and nowhere indicates that users may choose another language or that the file is intentionally limited to a Chinese-speaking audience. Under the language/locale policy rule, forcing a specific language without opt-in is a policy concern.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
87% confidence
Finding

This file contains substantial discussion of psychological theory, mental health conditions, and treatment concepts such as depression, trauma, neurosis, and therapeutic methods, but it does not prominently frame itself at the beginning as educational material only or warn that it is not a substitute for professional care. In a user-facing agent skill about psychological growth and interpersonal problems, that omission can cause users to treat the content as actionable mental health guidance, especially when discussing vulnerable populations or serious conditions.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Confidence
82% confidence
Finding

This markdown file is natural-language content, so language-policy checks apply. The title and the rest of the document are written entirely in Chinese, and there is no indication that the skill is region-specific or that users can opt into another language, which can conflict with an organizational policy requiring language choice.

Finding

SQP-3 applies to all file types and covers natural-language policy violations such as forcing a specific language without user opt-in. This markdown file contains only Chinese-language content and does not indicate that the skill or reference is region-specific or that users may choose another language.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Confidence
94% confidence
Finding

The document title and all substantive content are written in Chinese, indicating a fixed language choice throughout the skill file. For this rule set, forcing a specific language without user opt-in or a documented regional justification is a natural-language policy concern.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Confidence
93% confidence
Finding

The document is entirely written in Chinese and does not provide any indication that language selection is optional or user-configurable. Under the policy rule for natural-language violations, forcing a specific language without user opt-in can be a locale-policy issue.
