Agentlens Blog Feed

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a small, disclosed AgentLens blog fetcher that only reads a public API and maintains a local deduplication file.

Before installing, understand that the skill will contact the public AgentLens API and keep a local JSON file of processed blog IDs so posts are not repeated. Choose the memory-file location deliberately if you do not want it stored at the default home-directory path.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

The activation text says to use the skill when 'the user or another skill/prompt needs the latest AgentLens blogs,' which is a broad natural-language condition rather than a specific invocation trigger. It does not define concrete trigger phrases, exclusions, or boundaries for when similar requests should not activate this skill, increasing the chance of unintended routing.
