Overview

This skill does what it claims: it fetches stock quotes and news from disclosed external finance data providers.

Install if you want stock quote/news lookups via external finance services. Be aware that symbols, company names, and news queries leave your machine, Tencent quote traffic uses HTTP, and FINNHUB_API_KEY or proxy settings should only be configured if you trust those services and understand the proxy scope.

The script sends the user-supplied stock symbol to third-party quote providers, including Tencent over plain HTTP, without any disclosure or consent mechanism. While the transmitted data is typically low sensitivity in this skill context, it still leaks user query metadata off-system and the HTTP transport also permits network observers or intermediaries to see or tamper with the request/response.
