Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a local personal note-organizing workflow that writes only to a disclosed `personal/` folder and shows no hidden execution, network access, or credential handling.

Install this only if you want the agent to maintain a persistent personal knowledge folder in your workspace. Before running inbox processing, review `personal/inbox.md` if you care about preserving the raw text, because the workflow says it will clean up that file after routing its contents.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill explicitly instructs the agent to create and modify files in the user's workspace under personal/, including first-time setup and ongoing updates, but it does not clearly warn the user at invocation time that filesystem writes will occur. This can lead to unintended persistence, silent modification of personal notes, or overwriting/cleanup actions such as processing and clearing inbox.md without sufficiently explicit user awareness or confirmation.
