Security audit

mobile-code-review

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill provides scoped mobile-code review guidance without installing software, changing files automatically, or establishing background access.

Use it with the repository and review scope you intend to share with your agent. It reads complete changed files and related code, and supplies review findings rather than a full security audit.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Rogue AgentSelf-Modification, Session Persistence
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

- Platform channels use Pigeon or a typed wrapper; channel names and method names are not stringly duplicated.
- Native side handlers run on the platform main thread unless a background task queue is configured;
heavy native work is moved off it.
- New permissions, `Info.plist` keys or `AndroidManifest.xml` entries are called out in the MR.

## Project and dependencies

- New SPM packages pinned to a version range, `Package.resolved` committed for apps.
- New `Info.plist` keys, entitlements, background modes or privacy usage strings are called out in the MR.
- New required-reason API usage is reflected in `PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy`.
