Random Password Generator Quantum

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a coherent remote password-generation integration, but it asks users to create high-value secrets through a third-party service without clearly warning that the provider can see the generated credentials.

Review this before installing if you may generate root passwords, encryption keys, onboarding credentials, or other high-value secrets. Prefer local generation for secrets that must be known only to you, and only use the remote AgentPMT route if your policy allows the provider to handle the generated password and you accept the mutable setup dependency risk.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Insecure DependenciesIntroduces malicious components through unsafe dependency sources
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally

Vague Triggers

Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The top-level description embeds overly broad discovery terms including 'generate', 'length', and 'uppercase', which can cause the skill to be selected in contexts unrelated to credential generation. Because this skill makes remote tool calls, accidental activation increases the chance of unintended data transmission and misuse of a security-sensitive password workflow.

Vague Triggers

Medium

Not specified by scanner
Confidence
95% confidence
Finding

The activation keywords include broad terms such as 'generate', 'length', and 'uppercase', which are generic enough to match many unrelated user requests. In an agent environment, that can cause unintended invocation of a remote password-generation tool, leading to unnecessary external calls, incorrect workflow branching, or leakage of surrounding task context to the tool platform.

External Transmission

Medium
Category
Data Exfiltration
Confidence
97% confidence
Finding

The skill is explicitly designed to send requests to external AgentPMT endpoints for password generation and schema lookup. Because generated passwords and possibly adjacent request metadata leave the local environment, this is a real data-transmission boundary; in a credential-generation context, any unnecessary third-party transmission is sensitive even if expected by design.

External Transmission

Medium
Category
Data Exfiltration
Confidence
97% confidence
Finding

This line documents a REST invoke endpoint that sends password-generation requests to a third-party service. In context, the danger is not hidden exfiltration but legitimate external transmission of highly sensitive outputs; if used for root passwords or encryption-related secrets, compromise of the service, logs, or transit path could expose credentials.
