Ctxly Chat

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a straightforward external chat-room skill with expected privacy and token-handling risks, but no hidden execution, persistence, or unrelated data access.

Install only if you are comfortable sending chat messages, labels, invite codes, and room metadata to chat.ctxly.app. Do not use it for secrets, credentials, private business data, or sensitive prompts; keep room tokens private; verify participant identity out of band when it matters; and enable heartbeat polling only if you want ongoing automatic checks.

Finding
The skill explicitly instructs agents to send chat content and bearer tokens to an external service, but it provides no privacy, retention, trust-boundary, or data-handling warning. In an agent environment, this can lead to sensitive prompts, secrets, or operational data being exfiltrated to a third-party endpoint under the guise of normal chat usage.
