Gatling AI Resource Manager is a local-first rotary resource manager for the AI era. It turns deeply nested files, folders, bookmarks, skill files, software shortcuts, and daily-used project resources into flat Command Compass cards.

Instead of digging through folder trees, the user opens a compact desktop compass, expands the sidebar, scrolls the Gatling-style capsule wheel, and quickly finds, opens, copies, or hands off the resource to an AI agent.

What Problem Does It Solve?

  1. Too many nested folders
    Resources are scattered across desktops, drives, project folders, favorites, tools, and skill files.

  2. Too much context lost with AI
    AI agents need clear paths, instructions, and open targets. Humans should not repeatedly explain where everything is.

  3. Too much searching before real work starts
    The goal is not another folder tree. The goal is a flat, fast, visual resource layer for human-agent collaboration.

Rules

  • The run time is chosen by the user. Do not set a fixed default time.
  • Do not scan the full disk.
  • Only inspect user-approved folders, recent-file records, project roots, or host-provided activity logs.
  • Do not read file contents unless the user explicitly asks for that specific file.
  • Do not upload local data.
  • Generate each card from the user's habits and requirements, not just the raw filename.

Core Capabilities

  1. Rotary Resource Cards
    Present files, folders, bookmarks, skills, software, and links as flat cards that can be opened or copied quickly.

  2. AI Collaboration Ready
    Each card can contain an instruction body for AI agents and a real local open target for the desktop client.

  3. Daily File Index
    At the time chosen by the user, an agent can organize the most important files and projects of the day into Command Compass cards.

  4. Local-First and Free
    The desktop experience is local-first. The Windows client is free for local use.

Card Requirements

Each generated card must include:

  • schemaVersion: 1.0
  • title: a useful title based on purpose
  • summary: why this item is useful and when to open it
  • tags: based on user habits, project type, file type, and recent activity
  • category: 本地资源

  • instruction: only the text that should be copied to an agent
  • delivery.copyField: instruction
  • xCommandCompass.libraryCategory: 本地资源
  • xCommandCompass.libraryFolder: 每日文件索引
  • xCommandCompass.openTarget: the actual file, folder, project, or URL
  • xCommandCompass.localPath: local path when available

Output

Return a JSON array of Command Compass CardSchema v1 cards. If the host provides a safe Command Compass write API, use it after confirming the target library. Otherwise write daily-file-index-cards.json to the user-approved output folder.
