TribuRuby Training Agent

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward TribuRuby habit and training integration that can read activity and create ritual check-ins using the user's API key.

Before installing, understand that this skill uses your TribuRuby Agent API key and can submit ritual check-ins to your TribuRuby account. Use it when you are comfortable with the agent viewing your tribe/training activity and ask it to confirm the ritual, date, and quantity before any check-in.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill defines a POST "check-in" action that changes the user's TribuRuby account state, but it does not instruct the agent to obtain explicit user confirmation or warn that the operation is write-capable. In an agent setting, this can lead to unintended account modifications if the model proactively follows the workflow and submits check-ins on the user's behalf.
