OFAC Crypto Address Check (free)

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

The skill performs a limited wallet-address sanctions lookup through Finch without requesting wallet access, secrets, or background activity.

Finch receives queried wallet addresses, including during screening before transactions. Consider whether the address or its association with you is sensitive. A non-match does not prove safety, and paid tracing requires your approval.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Output HandlingUnvalidated Output Injection, Cross-Context Output, Unbounded Output
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
Findings (2)

The workflow sends the queried wallet address to a third-party service without a privacy disclosure.

Finding

The workflow sends the queried address to a third-party Finch endpoint without explicitly telling the user that this is not a direct Treasury lookup. Although blockchain addresses are public, submitting one can expose a previously private association with a user, counterparty, or planned transaction; the proactive screening trigger increases the chance of disclosure without the user's awareness.
