Purpose & Capability
Name, description, expected inputs, and outputs match the SKILL.md workflow: comparing a user's PDP against competitor PDPs, scoring gaps, and producing prioritized rewrite guidance. No unrelated credentials, binaries, or config paths are requested.
Instruction Scope
Runtime instructions are scoped to parsing listing text, inspecting competitor pages (via OpenClaw managed browser or explicit Browser Relay), benchmarking structure, and producing a gap report. The SKILL.md explicitly limits copying competitor claims verbatim and calls out compliance-sensitive claims. It does not instruct reading unrelated system files or exfiltrating data to third-party endpoints.
Install Mechanism
There is no install spec and no code files; this is an instruction-only skill. That minimizes disk footprint and supply-chain risk.
Credentials
The skill requires no environment variables, credentials, or config paths. The expected inputs (user listing text, competitor URLs, product constraints) are proportionate to the audit task.
Persistence & Privilege
always is false, and the skill does not request persistent or elevated privileges or attempt to modify other skills or system-wide settings. Autonomous invocation is allowed by default but not combined with other concerning factors.
Assessment
This skill appears coherent and low-risk for its stated purpose. Before installing, note: (1) you'll need to supply your listing text or URLs and competitor URLs (ensure you have the right to share any proprietary content); (2) the skill prefers using the platform's managed browser to inspect live PDPs — that will access live pages but is a normal platform action, so only proceed if you're comfortable allowing the agent to view those pages; (3) the license is CC BY-NC-SA (non-commercial) with commercial use requiring a paid license from Razestar — confirm license terms if you plan commercial use; (4) avoid providing unrelated secrets or credentials to the skill. If you want deeper assurance, request the author identity/source or ask for an explicit privacy note about how scraped evidence is stored/used.

Like a lobster shell, security has layers — review code before you run it.

Listing Gap Audit

Skill Card

  • Category: PDP Optimization
  • Core problem: How does our listing underperform compared with competitors?
  • Best for: Listing rewrite prioritization
  • Expected input: Your listing text + competitor listings + product constraints
  • Expected output: Gap report across title, bullets, proof, offer framing, and action priorities
  • Creatop handoff: Send priority rewrites into script/copy generation workflows

Browser-first guidance

When live listing URLs are available, prefer OpenClaw managed browser to inspect your PDP and competitor PDPs before generating the audit.

Recommended order:

  1. If the user already has copied listing text, use that first.
  2. If URLs are available, inspect live pages with OpenClaw managed browser.
  3. Use Browser Relay only when the user explicitly wants to inspect their current Chrome tab.

The default browser guidance should be OpenClaw managed browser, not a generic Playwright assumption.

Workflow

  1. Clarify the comparison goal.
    • Which listing is yours?
    • Which competitor pages matter most?
    • Is the user optimizing for CTR, conversion, trust, or claim safety?
  2. Parse listing components: headline, bullets, proof, offer, objections.
  3. Benchmark against competitor structure and claim density.
  4. Score gaps by conversion impact and implementation effort.
  5. Generate rewrite priorities with before/after guidance.

Output format

Return in this order:

  1. Executive summary (max 5 lines)
  2. Priority actions (P0/P1/P2)
  3. Evidence table (signal, confidence, risk)
  4. 7-day execution plan

Quality and safety rules

  • Do not copy competitor claims verbatim.
  • Flag compliance-sensitive claims explicitly.
  • Keep recommendations feasible for current product constraints.
  • If browser evidence is partial, label it clearly.
