Marketing Analytics

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a simple marketing analytics guidance skill with no code execution, persistence, or hidden access, but users should avoid pasting sensitive business or customer data unnecessarily.

Before installing or using it, treat outputs as advisory and review them with appropriate business judgment. Only provide the minimum marketing data needed, and redact confidential strategy, personal customer information, credentials, regulated data, or contracts unless you are authorized to share them.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Vague Triggers

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding

The skill description and overview use broad, generic business language without clear boundaries, trigger conditions, or exclusions. This can cause the agent to be invoked for loosely related tasks and increases the chance of over-collection of data, misuse outside intended scope, or unsafe downstream actions such as generating operational deliverables without adequate constraints.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
97% confidence
Finding

The skill explicitly asks users to provide business context, data, and documents but does not warn against sharing confidential, regulated, or personal information. In a marketing analytics context, users may supply customer datasets, campaign exports, contracts, or internal strategy documents, creating avoidable exposure of sensitive information to the agent.
