Letterboxd Watchlist

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill does what it says: it scrapes a public Letterboxd watchlist and saves the results locally, with no signs of hidden credential use, persistence, or unrelated data access.

Install only if you are comfortable letting the skill make public requests to letterboxd.com and write an output file path you provide. Choose a normal output filename to avoid accidentally overwriting an existing local file.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

The skill describes network access and file-writing behavior but does not declare any explicit tool scope or permissions boundaries. This creates a least-privilege gap: an agent runtime may grant broader capabilities than necessary, making it easier for the skill to be reused or modified for unintended network access or filesystem writes without clear policy enforcement.
