Skill Router
PassAudited by ClawScan on May 1, 2026.
Overview
This is a coherent instruction-only routing skill that helps choose among installed skills and does not include code, credentials, persistence, or hidden execution.
This skill appears safe to install if you want help choosing among installed skills. Be aware that it is designed to prefer existing installed skills before searching for new ones, so explicitly ask for discovery if that is your priority.

Artifact-based informational review of SKILL.md, metadata, install specs, static scan signals, and capability signals. ClawScan does not execute the skill or run runtime probes.
The agent may recommend reusing an installed skill instead of immediately searching for or installing a new one.
This instruction can redirect a literal request for new-skill discovery toward using an existing installed skill. It is disclosed, scoped to skill routing, and framed as avoiding unnecessary installation rather than overriding the user's broader task.
Even if the user explicitly asks to find or install a new skill, still prefer reuse first when an installed skill is already sufficient for the task.
If you specifically want new-skill discovery despite an existing option, state that preference clearly.
The router may suggest follow-on skills for discovery or vetting when no installed skill fits.
The skill can route the agent toward discovery, vetting, and eventual install/update workflows. This is purpose-aligned and includes a safety gate before unfamiliar installations.
Preferred discovery flow: 1. use `find-skills` to search for candidates 2. if the candidate is unfamiliar or third-party, route through `skill-vetter` before installation 3. only then proceed to install/update actions
Review any discovered third-party skill before installing it, and keep the vetting step enabled for unfamiliar sources.
