Quote/0

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Quote/0 device-control helper that uses expected API credentials and user-selected content uploads.

Install this only if you want an agent to control your MindReset Dot Quote/0 device. Treat DOT_API_KEY like a password, verify the DOT_DEVICE_ID before state-changing commands, and only use --imageFile with PNGs you are comfortable uploading to the Dot service.

The description uses broad activation language ('Use when the user asks...') covering configuration, content pushing, device control, and troubleshooting without clear guardrails. In an agent ecosystem, this can cause over-selection of a skill that handles sensitive credentials and performs real device actions, increasing the chance of unintended API calls, content changes, or credential prompting in contexts where the user did not specifically intend device control.
