Overview
Bat is a simple local command-line note logger with disclosed plain-text storage and no evidence of network access, credential use, or hidden behavior.
Install only if you are comfortable with a local CLI tool creating ~/.local/share/bat or a BAT_DIR location and storing notes plus command history there in plain text. Do not enter passwords, API keys, private keys, or sensitive personal data unless you manage and protect those files yourself.
