Soul Shifter

Overview
This instruction-only skill clearly does what it claims—creates and switches persistent OpenClaw personas—but users should review generated persona rules before letting them replace SOUL.md.
Install only if you want a skill that can persistently change OpenClaw's persona. Before activating a new soul, review the generated SOUL.md content, keep a backup of your current persona, and remove any instructions that weaken boundaries or conflict with how you want the agent to behave.
Findings (2)
Artifact-based informational review of SKILL.md, metadata, install specs, static scan signals, and capability signals. ClawScan does not execute the skill or run runtime probes.
A generated or loaded persona may continue affecting responses after the current request, especially if its instructions are too broad or misleading.
The skill stores generated persona content and installs it into a persistent file that can influence future OpenClaw behavior.
Save: Write the content to `~/clawd/souls/[character_name_normalized].md`. ... Activate: Overwrite `~/clawd/SOUL.md` with the new content.
Review the generated soul before activation, keep a backup of the current SOUL.md, and avoid saving personas that include instructions to ignore safety, user intent, or normal boundaries.
A persona could make the assistant behave in ways the user did not intend if the generated interaction rules are overly permissive or manipulative.
The skill creates persona instructions that can directly steer the agent's style, interaction rules, and boundaries. This is expected for a persona skill, but should be reviewed.
The generated soul content MUST follow this structure: ... ## Interaction Rules ... **[Rule 2]:** [Guideline on boundaries or lack thereof]
Inspect and edit persona rules before saving or switching, especially any rule about boundaries, obedience, secrecy, or tool use.
