pokerpal

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This looks like a straightforward PokerPal lookup tool, but installing it lets the agent use your PokerPal bot key to view poker game and buy-in data.

Install only if you trust the configured PokerPal API URL and are comfortable letting the agent read the poker group, player, buy-in, chip count, and net result information available to the bot key. Prefer a read-only, least-privilege bot key and rotate it if the configured endpoint or installation source is no longer trusted.

Finding
The skill declares required environment variables and is intended to query live poker data, which implies network access and use of a sensitive API key, but it does not declare explicit permissions for those capabilities. This creates a transparency and policy-enforcement gap: a user or platform may not realize the skill can access secrets and make outbound requests, increasing the risk of unintended data exposure or over-privileged execution.
