agentpass

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Home Assistant gateway for reading device information and approval-gated device control, with no hidden or unrelated behavior found.

Install only if you trust the agentpass CLI package and the configured gateway. Treat AGENT_TOKEN as sensitive, scope it narrowly where possible, and remember that read-only queries can reveal occupancy, device names, history, and configuration even when no device is changed.

Finding
The skill description is broad enough to trigger on many ordinary smart-home queries, including reading device state/history and controlling devices, which increases the chance of unintended invocation. In a home-automation context, accidental invocation can expose sensitive household telemetry or initiate approval-gated actions the user did not explicitly intend.
