Overview
This is a coherent macOS transcription helper that installs and uses the yap speech-to-text CLI, with no evidence of hidden execution, exfiltration, or destructive behavior.
Install only if you are comfortable adding a third-party Homebrew CLI. Use it on audio or video files you intend to transcribe, review transcript output paths before saving, and be aware that any live microphone or system-audio features in newer yap releases may trigger macOS privacy prompts.
