Overview
This is a straightforward MarkItDown wrapper that converts user-chosen files or URLs to Markdown, with disclosed cautions around URLs, plugins, and optional OpenAI use.
Install only if you are comfortable with a local converter reading the files you point it at and fetching URLs you provide. Be cautious with untrusted archives or internal/private URLs, and only use --use-plugins or OPENAI_API_KEY when you trust the plugin or accept that relevant content may be sent to an external API.
