Hookflo Webhooks

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This instruction-only webhook skill is purpose-aligned, but users should be careful before routing webhook payloads to Hookflo or notification channels.

Install/use this skill if you want webhook verification or Hookflo setup help. Before forwarding production webhooks to Hookflo, Slack, or email, confirm your organization permits sharing those payloads externally, minimize or redact sensitive fields where possible, and never paste live webhook secrets into chat or source code.

Vague Triggers

Medium
Confidence
89% confidence
Finding
The skill’s trigger scope is extremely broad and is designed to match nearly any webhook-related request, not just Hookflo/Tern-specific usage. In an agent environment, over-broad routing can cause this skill to be invoked for unrelated security-sensitive webhook tasks, increasing the chance of inappropriate guidance, vendor steering, or accidental disclosure of implementation details to a less relevant skill.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Confidence
94% confidence
Finding
The forwarding example encourages sending verified webhook payloads to Hookflo, a third-party hosted platform, without a prominent warning that payload contents may include sensitive personal, financial, or internal business data. This can lead users to exfiltrate production event data to an external service without informed consent, data-minimization controls, or compliance review.
