NorthData

Overview

The skill is an instruction-only best-practice guide for using NorthData via an existing CLI or MCP server; its requests and instructions are coherent with that purpose and do not ask for unrelated credentials or installs.

This is a guidance-only skill that expects the northdata CLI or an MCP client to already be configured. Before installing/using it: 1) Confirm your NorthData API credentials are set up in the CLI/MCP client (the skill itself doesn't request secrets). 2) Be careful with searches that set high limits — the skill correctly warns that NorthData bills per returned company and points to env vars to cap costs; do not raise those caps without explicit human approval. 3) Prefer using MCP if you trust the MCP client’s telemetry and configuration, and verify the origin of any northdata CLI you install (use official package sources). 4) Because the skill is instruction-only, it can't write files, but agents running with MCP can act autonomously — ensure you trust the agent to make billed API calls on your behalf.
