Conversation Archiver
PassAudited by ClawScan on May 1, 2026.
Overview
This instruction-only archiving skill is coherent and disclosed, but users should notice that it can write persistent summaries, optionally post them to Discord, and mark related tasks complete.
This skill appears safe for its stated purpose. Before using it, decide what should be archived, confirm the archive and memory locations, and review any Discord post or task-completion update so private information is not shared or recorded unintentionally.
Findings (3)
Artifact-based informational review of SKILL.md, metadata, install specs, static scan signals, and capability signals. ClawScan does not execute the skill or run runtime probes.
Archived information may remain available in future sessions or workflows.
The skill intentionally writes a persistent memory entry, which is purpose-aligned for archiving but may influence future context or retain sensitive details.
3. **Update daily memory**: Add a line to today's memory file noting the archival
Review memory entries for accuracy and avoid storing sensitive details that should not persist.
A summary could be visible to other people in the configured Discord channel.
The skill discloses optional sharing of conversation summaries to a Discord channel; this is aligned with archiving but may expose conversation content outside the local workspace.
2. **Post to Discord** (optional): Send summary to a designated archive channel
Use a trusted archive channel and review summaries before posting, especially if the conversation includes private or sensitive information.
A related task could be closed based on the archived conversation.
The workflow can mutate task state by marking tasks complete; this is consistent with archiving completed work but should be done only when the task is actually resolved.
4. **Update tasks**: If the conversation relates to a tracked task, mark it complete
Confirm that related tasks are truly complete before allowing the skill to update task status.
